The Taipei Taiwan Temple

of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

The Church in Taiwan began just over 40 years ago, making Taiwan one of the "youngest" countries, as far as Church work is concerned, to have a temple.

The temple was announced in April 1981.
Ground was broken and construction begun on 27 August 1982.
The cornerstone was laid and the temple dedicated on 17-18 November 1984.
There are 3 Sealing rooms and 4 Ordinance rooms in the 16,217 square foot temple.
The tallest (east center) spire is 126 feet tall.
The Taipei Temple serves stakes in Taiwan.

I have not yet found any pictures of the interior.
