Review:The
movie The Doors is in many ways what the band The Doors
were for their time. Different, psychedelic, dark, innovative, and
very cool. Val Kilmers (Tombstone)
performance as the legendary Jim Morrison is magnificent. Amazingly,
all of the concert scenes feature Kilmers vocals. Oliver Stone's (Platoon,

on the 4th of July, The Doors,
Talk Radio, Wall
Street) The Doors is a disturbing film and may not
be appreciated my many, particularly those who haven’t experimented
with hallucinogens and those who are plagued with poor taste in music.
Thanks to Stone, an entire generation was introduced to one of the
most important bands in rock history. This movie is largely overlooked
