FAQ and Responses to Common E-Mails
I CAN'T READ
This site might be hard for some people to read. I create it using
Times New Roman font and with my browser set at "medium" size fonts. I also use 800x600 resolution on all of my computers. Now, the first complete sentence on my website clearly states this information, yet I still receive messages from visitors who say, "I can't read certain pages on your site because text overlaps," or, "The text on your site is so small, I can't read it well," or, "The text on your site is so big and it's off-center......"
Pay attention, people! If you have your browser set in any way OTHER than how I state on my homepage, then yes, you might have some difficulty reading some of my pages. I can't worry about what setting each visitor keeps on their browser. I haven't the time, and honestly, I don't care. My browsers are at the default setting for Windows, and that's the way they will be kept. If you want to see my site.... adjust accordingly. Sorry, but that's just the way it is.

WHY IS THERE AIR?
Do not ask me questions that are clearly answered within this website. I realize the site is big and there is a lot to sort through, so if you do ask something that is answered vaguely in a paragraph here someplace, I understand you may have overlooked it. But with the more obvious subjects, please don't ask unless you are sure the site does not answer your inquiry. Saves us both time.

WE DON'T NEED NO EDUCATION
How many times do I have to put these words on my site?.......I will not and cannot be a magickal or pagan teacher. I think half of the people who visit my site just read long enough to see that, oh yes, she really is an experienced magician/pagan- I need a teacher so I'm going to pester her about it. If you have something personal to ask me, tell me, or something to share, please do- I love and appreciate feedback. But as I stated above, please read the website before you write, "Will you be my teacher," or "Can you send me some spells," or "Are you still a Wiccan," or any other ridiculous inquiry.

SWALLOWED BY DARKNESS
No, I don't plan to add any "how-to" information about "black" magick, necromancy, demonolatry, or any magickal information one may consider to be related to a dark path. Yes, I've read much about many of these subjects but I don't consider myself to be a practitioner of "dark" magick- so I can't really imagine anyone would be comfortable learning about such issues from me for that reason. For those who said my site is boring because it does not include dark magick... I don't care, but thanks for the input.

YAK YAK
No, I don't plan to add a chat room to the site. The only reason is that I don't have time to monitor one.

HOW YOU DOIN'?
Yes, I like it when people e-mail me to ask how I like being a Pagan or how my studies are going, etc. And no, I don't think those are stupid questions. Pleasant messages are always welcomed.

LOSE YOUR FACE, LOSE YOUR NAME, THEN GET FITTED FOR A SUIT OF FLAME...
No, I don't mind anyone telling me that Jesus loves me. Most Pagans get so offended when Christians say this to them, but I don't at all. I appreciate and understand the reason they tell me this. But I don't appreciate, "You're wrong and you will burn in hell if you don't repent." There are nicer ways of trying to "save a lost soul."

I TRIED TOO HARD AND SHE TORE MY FEELINGS LIKE I HAD NONE......
Most of my email messages are questions. Many people ask questions that seem so off-the-wall and, to be blunt.....retarded. Questions like, "If my friend is dying her hair black, does this mean she is a Satanist?" Another classic......"If somebody spells magick without the "k" then does this mean their website is fake?" Yet another......"If I don't have a magickal name, will my magick work?" Good lord. I rarely hold back implying that questions like these are stupid. I'm sorry for that, and sorry if you have asked me something in that past and I hurt your feelings in this way. But come on, try to think a little before you create ideas in your head. Think about the questions you are asking before you write me.

Who or what do Pagans worship?
Some Pagans don't "worship" anyone or thing. Some believe in a divine force with a male and female aspect that is responsible for all things that exist and everything that happens. Some believe many gods and many goddesses exist. Some believe only a goddess exists, some only a god, some in one god and one goddess. Some personify the universal forces, some simply see it as energy. The answer to this question varies from tradition to tradition, from individual to individual.

Aren't Wicca and Witchcraft the same?
Well, I explain a little about the differences between "traditional witchcraft" and Wicca on another page.
The
word "witch" is used to describe a person who practises magick. You will notice that many Wiccans use the words Wiccan and witch interchangably. The actual term "witch" is used by many people who aren't affiliated with any religious or spiritual path, as well as those who follow specific craft traditions, those following the various forms of modern Wicca, and all the many solitary "witches" who exist.
