Prayers for Healing
Lord, look upon me with the eyes of Your mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon me, may your Life-giving powers flow into every cell of my body and into the deep recesses of my soul. Cleanse me, purify me, restore me to wholeness, and give me strength to continue my service for Your Kingdom. Amen
O God, who is the only source of health and healing, the spirit of calm and the central peace of this universe. Grant upon me such a consciousness of Your indwelling and all glorious presence, that I may permit You to heal me and give me strength and peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer Before and After an Operation
Loving Father, I give myself to Your care this day. Guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the doctors who minister in Your name and grant that every cause of my illness be removed. Restore me to health and teach me to live in perfect harmony with You and my fellow man, through Jesus Christ. Amen
Into your hands I commend my body and soul. Amen
Blessed Savior, I thank You that this operation is safely over and now I rest in your presence. Help me to relax every tension, release every care and anxiety and receive more and more of Your healing touch into every part of my body. In moments of pain and loneliness I turn to You for strength. I feel Your love near me. Grant that Your life, love and joy flow through me for the healing of others in Your Holy Name. Amen.
Prayer For The Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick, I turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, take away my worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant me the grace and strength to accept this burden. Amen
Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick in your care and humbly ask that you restore Your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowlege Your holy will and know that whatsoever You do, You do for the love of us.Amen
Prayer For One's Family
Father, sometimes the family gets me down. The children are noisy and the bills pile up. My relatives and friends make demands on my time and attention. I try to keep first things first and create an atmosphere where Your name is honored and Your word is observed. But I get tired and a hardness creeps into my voice. Help me to cope with the daily strains of family life. Help me to sustain an atmosphere in which my partner can grow in Your love. Help me to encourage my children to develop in themselves the talents You have given them. Help me to make my family the community of love that Your Son came to bring. Amen
Prayer of Parents For Their Children
Almighty Father, You have called us to the holy state of Matrimony and have shared with us Your gift of creation. Thank you, Father, for making our love fruitful. May we be worthy representations of You in forming our children in Your knowledge and love. May our home be as a Church, for You, Lord Jesus Christ, are present wherever two or more are gathered in Your Name. May we praise Your Name frequently from the lips and hearts of our family and may we all be one day united in our eternal home. Amen
Prayer In Time Of Suffering
Behold me, my beloved Jesus, weighed down under the burden of my trials and sufferings. I cast myself at your feet and pray that You will renew my strength and courage while I rest in Your Presence. Permit me to lay down my cross at Your Sacred Heart, for only Your goodness can sustain me, only Your love can help me to bear my cross, and only Your powerful hand can lighten it's weight. O Divine King, Jesus, whose heart is filled with compassion to the afflicted, I want to live in You and suffer and die in You. Be to me my model and my support. At the hour of my death, be my hope and refuge. Amen

Let me not decieve myself. I know what I am considering is wrong. Let me not be swept away by the attraction of this sin. God the Father, watch over me. Christ our Lord, give me strength. Holy Spirit, live in me. Amen

Dear Lord, teach me to be generous. Teach me to give and give and not count the cost. Teach me to fight and not to heed the wounds. Teach me to work and not to ask for rewards. Help me to know that I am doing Your will. Amen

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change....the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Amen
A Prayer Of Praise
Praise to You, Father for the innocent eyes of children. For sunlight and flowers and snowfalls. For the muscles of men who build houses. For hospitals, harbors and the minds of scholars who unfold the truths of the universe. For the hearts of parents who teach us to love. We praise You for what we have. We praise You, too, for those things that Your wise love has decided to withhold from us. What we are and have is from You. And our grateful response can only be to share these treasures with all Your children. Amen
I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will tell of all thy wonderful deeds.
