The consortium will send emails to all current
members and associates of FANHS chapters. The listserve will announce
activities, chat on issues of Filipino American History, coordinate
joint projects, and engage interested community people in emerging
developments of historical significance and noteworthy documentation
of Filipino experience in the U.S. This listserve hopes to attract
students, community people, teachers, and historians who want to
cite Filipino untold stories, successes, and lessons learned from
our participation and building of U.S. society. All are welcome.
Activities in the past range from annual celebrations of Fil-Am
History month in October, exhibits, talk-story, symposiums, food
fests, cultural exchange, and many other outreach efforts to show
the rich culture and history of Filipinos in the U.S. for the past
3 centuries.
