Reminder: The
Second Manila Core Meeting
MANILA MEETING-FELLOWSHIP
Fr.Erick is hosting the
small party intended for those who are in Metro Manila on August
12, Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Manila Cathedral College, 287 Tayuman
Street, Tondo, Manila.
We will have a one-hour
business meeting regarding the batch plans, most specifically the BIG FAMILY
DAY tentatively slated in October. It will be followed by an endless"
fellowship and videoke party; food and drinks are on me. Jesie Guevara-Moran
and Perlie Gonzales will prepare a three-hour repertoire (Take a bow, Concert
Queens!).
YOU SHOULD NOT MISS THIS
AS THIS WILL BE HIS ADVANCED BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION (actual day - August
20)! We'll have an avalanche of stories, fun, songs and laughter
. . . and food, too. YOU CAN TAG ALONG YOUR SPOUSES AND
KIDS . . . JUST INFORM ME. The kids can stay either at our kindergarten
room or read some good books at the library. They can also watch
a movie or two . . . or play with our friendly dog, DUANE. I also
have a friend who owns a PYTHON . . . in case, they're interested. I'm
sure we'll have a good time . . .
INGGITIN NATIN ANG MGA TAGA-CANADA
AT USA!
PLEASE RSVP
SO THAT HE WILL HAVE AN IDEA OF HOW MUCH FOOD AND DRINK TO PREPARE
Take
note that the Manila Cathedral College is NOT in Intramuros (a common mistake,
actually). It's in Tayuman, right besides the Immaculate Conception
Church. (The other church in Tayuman corner Rizal Ave. is Espiritu
Santo. It's one jeepney ride away from my church going to the direction
of Pritil). |
Cyber Reunion Part II
Isa Pa Nga !
The CyberII was a flop???
In terms of attendance from the group
in Cyber I, it was. Only half of the first group came back.
But we have many newcomers who were just as funny and just as crazy.
It was just as fun.
In terms of what we accomplished?.....
we decided to hold the Grand Reunion in Aling Miling's and our "handa"
is fish balls. Is that synonymous to nothing?
For the lack of quorum... and order in
the chatroom (latter is expected), we left the agenda behind and concentrate
on having fun. And we had lots of fun from 10:00 pm until 2:30
am EST.

Ang Barkada Ko
Featuring the famous and not-so-famous
peer-groups in THS
McCool Hits
Music
brings people together. Ariel Ciego, Jollo Semilla,
Mon Salas and Val Buzon formed the group McCool Hits who graced
the THS stage and homeroom gatherings so many times. The group was
joined by 2 honorary members...Riz Bautista & Tony Fajardo
much later. We will never forget those days when we bring our guitars
and jam and sing some hits from the bleachers in the THS oval.
The highlight of
the group is a number featuring THE Joseph Gelito
as Sampaguita in the Bonggahan number on the stage. We were practicing
for a number hours before the performance when Joseph walk in and impromptu
asked us to play Bonggahan and the empty room got filled with spectators
so we decided to do the number with Joseph G. |

Buddy to Buddy
As long as you are looking for other people, could you have
someone to look for Emma Nicholas,

from her in about 18 years. Also, I am looking for Yolanda
