You are invited to participate in A SATURDAY WITH SHERLOCK HOLMES at the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, hosted by three of the Baltimore area's pretigious Sherlockian societies!

This event - which is FREE to the public - will feature an appearance by Mr. Sherlock Holmes himself, who will greet visitors in the Edgar Allen Poe Room.

This event is the annual gathering of The Six Napoleons of Baltimore, The Carleton Club and Watson's Tin Box of Ellicott City, and is organized in concert with The Enoch Pratt Free Library.

The gathering will begin at 10 a.m. with a coffee reception in the library of the Edgar Allan Poe Room, which will be followed by a series of addresses on themes related to the character and cases of Sherlock Holmes.

Mr. Holmes will observe his 155th birthday Jan. 6, 2009, but despite his age he is expected to be present - and deeply involved - throughout the gathering.

Mr. Holmes is always prepared to meet well-wishers and to make a few pertinent remarks, although he warns that some of the remarks may be impertinent as well. Yet, he promises to give a respectful answer to any serious questions posed in regard to his methods, habits and extraordinary career.

THIS EVENT IS FREE TO THE PUBLIC.
