We can be your guide for a mutual investigation into the strange – and possibly paranormal – events that concern you

Over the years, we've been approached by many clients who have experienced what can be regarded as "spiritual contact." In our writings for such publications as Occult, Beyond Reality and Skeptical Inquirer, we've related our own encounters with the strange, unusual, bizarre – and the phony. You might say that we've never met a ghost we didn't like, explain – or get rid of. In the most polite of circumstances, of course.

As skeptically minded private investigators of paranormal phenomena, we have conducted "contact sessions" – which most people call seances – in an entirely safe and honest fashion. We also have provided coaching and hands-on help to rid clients of bothersome manifestations and ease the minds of many others who do not have a current problem but wish to consult about a past event that remains bothersome.

We've found that most reports of manifestations and hauntings are misunderstandings, outright frauds or the result of misinterpretation, errors or misplaced fear. But we don't dismiss reports of such events out of hand. We review each case individually on its own merits, and accept only those cases where we believe we can be effective and compassionately helpful.

These investigations do not replace but rather augment conventional legal help or medical and mental therapy. We are prepared to refer clients to legal, health and psychological professionals should the need arise.

For private individuals:
Your Personal Ghost Tour: Tailored to those who find their contacts with the Unknown to be whimsical, amusing or even welcome. Hoteliers, hostelries and even homeowners have consulted us on how best to treat their "resident spirits" and to inform guests in a proper way how to "live with" a ghost, how best to react during a manifestation, and other concerns. Complete privacy assured. Minimum donation: $30 per hour.
Environmental Cleansing: A customized service for those who have experienced unwanted manifestations in their homes, available *only* to owners of the properties in question. Not to be confused with exorcism or seances, this service seeks any and all specific causes of the incidents and attempts to remove them permanently in a nonsectarian, non-invasive manner. If hoaxes are involved, we'll uncover it. If there's an explanation, we'll find it. But if it's more than either of these, we'll deal with that, too. In some instances, it may be necessary for families to vacate their homes for up to 48 hours. Complete privacy assured. Minimum donation: $30 per hour.
Private retreats: [This project is still under development.] Suitable for those who want to escape disturbing, unexplainable issues in their home environment. Relax, pamper yourself, meditate and develop your powers in daylong private reflection, focusing on self-awareness with personal guidance. With the intuitive tools we make available for your private use, a broad variety of goals may be achieved in this calming setting amid the tall willows and spruces that decorate Willowshade. Daylong camping also permitted. At Willowshade only. Available only to friends of MysteryVisits by special arrangement, between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. LImited to four clients on any one day.

For private groups of 5 to 25 people:
The Ceremony of Spiritual Time: A serious, nonsectarian method for groups of respectful friends to gather in a spirit of emotional healing and thoughtful reconciliation with those who have passed. Suitable for gatherings at Willowshade or at a residence of your choosing. This is not a seance. This approach is constructed to inspire each client's subconcious mind, to pinpoint little-understood desires and talents for achieving them. Because of this program's intense nature, it is not recommended for individuals under age 16. Participants must read and sign a waiver of liability. Minimum donation: $200 per two-hour session. Minimum of six participants; maximum of 16.

The Blessed Dead: A respectful, ethical, nonsectarian approach to spiritual association with those who have passed. Not for the faint of heart, as manifestations have been known to occur. Suitable for gatherings at Willowshade or a residence of your choice. This is not a seance. This approach is constructed to inspire each client's subconcious mind, to pinpoint little-understood desires and talents for achieving them. Because of this program's intense nature, it is not recommended for individuals under age 16. Participants must read and sign a waiver of liability. Minimum donation: $250 per two-hour session. Minimum of six participants; maximum of 16.
Artifacts of Recorded Experience: An entertaining demonstration of our theory of hauntings and other related paranormal events. Participants are invited to present us with items from their personal collections, and an attempt will be made to discern their histories and owners through psychometric techniques. Of particular interest to those seeking an understanding of paranormal events, this presentation also delves into how reputedly haunted sites "work." Minimum donation: $30 per hour-long session.
Haunts of the World: A 30- or 45-minute presentation of MysteryVisits' encounters with paranormal events across the United States and among the stately – but slowly vanishing – haunted houses of England. Minimum donation: $50.
