Marker was turned into a stage for this concert that was full of chanting, speeches and
statistics. Some acoustic performers pleased the Bayan and Anakbayan crowds and 13th
Underground left them confused (The female host, in an attempt to make the Kamikazee and
Black Sabbath covers of the band relevant, told the crowd that that's probably how the war
sounds in Iraq). Rowie's band practiced on stage and Alvin Morada contributed to the peace
effort by co-hosting the gig and leading the crowd in a heart breaking rendition of Awit
Ng Kabataan, wrong lyrics and all.
