A Google search for Isaac Elderfield turned up the Great Harwell fire of 1852, because Isaac Elderfield owned two houses occupied by tenents

The Berkshire Chronicle of 1 May 1852 gives a graphic account of the fire. It also lists the premises and property destroyed, and citizens involved
"four farm houses and twentyone barns besides outhouses and other farm premises. Also a number of other houses and cottages were destroyed."
