My name is Jeremy Glen. I was born in Kamloops, B.C. Canada, and now live in Vancouver. I was given a great family and a great life. I started to draw and paint very young, like most kids. I stuck with it, and have dedicated every year of my life to perfect my skills in illustration and design. The main reason I got serious about art, was because I was simply competing for attention with my older brother, who is also an artist. In elementry school, I mainly created art, but also was very interested in literature. I went to a few writers conferences, and was told that I had promise as a writer. I was pushed in this direction, but my writing style has changed since then, and now I write to satisfy more personal interests. Even though my styles have changed, it is still a great passion of mine. I also started singing, and creating music at this age. In high school, I was the typical mis-understood reclusive enigmatic artist type, only not as cool. I went on to win |

three art awards, and was accepted into Emily Carr Art Institute on an early acceptance program when I was 17. I dropped out of school shortly after, never to go to art school. This was a personal choice, and one I would never change. In high school, I also learned how to play the drums, bass, guitar and trumpet, and I sang with the vocal chior. I learned how to tattoo shortly after moving into downtown Vancouver, when I was 19, and have tattooed as my main form of employment ever since (I am 25 now). I learned under Percy Lemege (Native Images Tattoo, Vancouver), and worked with him for three years. My main skills are creating personal custom artwork in many styles, and a strong sense of balance, depth and contrast. (Check the "tat/pics" section for more info) Today, I am travelling the world, tattooing wherever I go, and I am also playing in my favorite band, called God Awakens Petrified (check the "my band" section for more info) |
