| ulysses is the largest orca at sea world cali. he is the only mature bull. he has never fathered and is thought to be steril. he was captured off of iceland along with a few other members of his resident pod: bjossa, finna, and vigga(all now nonliving) on Nov/1980. he was sent to barcelona, spain where he spent along time alone with many bottlenosed dolphins, later he was sent to sea world in 94. just resantly he was reunited with bjossa(he may be related to her). he is one of the lowest ranking orcas at cali even keet, keto, orkid, and takara are dominant over him. they show this by raking him with thier teeth. his dorsal fin tip binds to the right. his fluke tips taper down and his pectoral flippers are wide paddles (this is seen in mature bulls) he weighs 9,000 lbs and is 21 feet long. he appears often with splash and orkid. |
