Recommended eating spots near the field: Try Bertucci's, located at Cobb's Corner (Washington St.), about 2-3 miles from the field heading back towards Stoughton and Sharon. They have terrific Italian food and pizza here. In addition, there is a fantastic Chinese style buffet restaurant directly across the street from Bertucci's. The food here is extraordinary. Cobb's Corner also features a Papa Gino's and a Chinatown restaurant, in addition there is a Halfway Cafe here. In addition, if you prefer something a little closer to the field, Canton Center itself offers some excellent choices, like Matt Kelly's Pub, Rosario's (an Italian restaurant), the Neponset Cafe, and a terrific Chinese restaurant called Golden China.

From Madison Park, take Melnea Cass Blvd. to Mass. Avenue South to I-93 South. Follow I-93 South to the Rte.3/128 split in Braintree. Bear right onto 128 towards Dedham. Pass the Rte. 24 split, staying right on 128. Take 128 to the Rte. 138 exit (Exit 2A) and proceed as above.

FOXBORO (AHERN FIELD):  Foxboro is the only school in the Hockomock League that does not play their home games at a high school. Follow Mechanic St. to Ahern Middle School on left. You may also take the 140 Foxboro exit (Exit 7B) and travel 140 North to the Foxboro rotary in the center of town. Then bear to the right at the rotary, following the sign for Mechanic St. Sharon. The Ahern Middle School will then be ahead on your right. The field is set in the back. There is no commuter rail station within walking distance of the school.

Restroom facilities at the stadium: Ahern Field's restrooms are located inside the Ahern Middle School directly behind the field.

Recommended eating spots near the field: You have 3 choices in Sharon Center, and they're all good. If you like pasta, pizza, subs, salads, and the like, try Pizzigando. Pizzigando is right on your way to the field. As you turn right onto Pond St. as described above, Pizzigando will be to your immediate right, across from the Fleet Bank. Right up the street from Pizzigando, on the same side of the street, and across from the Sharon Credit Union, is a Chinese restaurant called Alice's Mandarin Taste. Sharon A.D. Bob Sondheim gave this establishment high marks. And, if you like more fancy cuisine, directly diagonally behind Pizzigando is a restaurant called Coriander. They serve French food here, among other things, and it comes highly recommended by the Boston Globe. Coriander is located next to the Starbucks Coffee on Billings St. as you turn off of 27. You can't miss it.

From Randolph, take Rte. 139 into Stoughton Square. Bear left onto Rte. 27 North and follow to Cobbs Corner Shopping Area in Canton. Follow 27 straight into Sharon and Sharon Center. Turn left onto Billings Street and then a sharp right onto Pond Street, then proceed as above.

STOUGHTON (ANTHONY SARNO FIELD): Rte. 24 to Rte. 139 West (Exit 20B.) Follow 139 West to the end, at which point you will be facing Stoughton Square. Turn right into Stoughton Square. (You will notice 27 North goes left, and 138 North goes right at this light, with the Town Hall and Pearl St. in the middle-follow Pearl St. straight.) Pass through a 4 way intersection with a blinking light. Stoughton High School will then be ahead on your left. This is the parking lot of the front entrance. There is also a lot behind the school (next driveway on left at the orange and black sign.) This lot fills up very quickly. The closest commuter rail station is the Stoughton station on the Stoughton line, on Rte.27 just outside Stoughton Center. It is a short walk to the field from there.

Restrooms at the stadium: Like OA, you need to hoof it to use the restrooms here. Walk across the field to the satellite dish. Around the corner there will be a school entrance there, walk in and to your right, the restrooms are there.

Concessions: Stoughton's concession stand is located to the left of the scoreboard near the north end zone. They have a nice, varied menu that changes week to week ( I love their beef stew!).

Recommended eating spots near the field:  Town Spa Pizzeria, Rte.138, Stoughton. From Sarno Field, exit onto Pearl St. and proceed to Stoughton Center. Drive through the square and then bear right onto Rte.138 South. Town Spa will be about 1 to 1 1/2 miles ahead on your right. Still, for my money, the best pizza this side of the North End. Oh, yes, and they have seafood, burgers, and salads too!  In addition to the great food, Town Spa is a great place for socializing, many coaches and players stop by after a game. Another excellent choice, for those who like Chinese food, is Cheng-Du, located directly in Stoughton Center. Coming from Sarno Field towards the square, it will be on your left as you enter the square. To learn more about the tasty food choices, visit www.cheng-du.biz.

From Winchester, take 95/128 South to the 93/95 split where 93 goes left and 95 bears right. Bear left, staying on 93 North. Follow ahead to Rte. 24, and exit right onto Rte. 24 South. Proceed as above.
