Comments On Some Awards

I have been enjoying this page for the past couple of years. Joschi's owner, Ulrich Leive, is a German painter, and his artwork is the basis for the all original graphics of this site. It is vast and full of surprise. Check out Joschi's wagging tail when first entering the site, and be sure to take a trip through the various art galleries and learn all about how Joschi and Ulle became such close friends. With both English and German versions, the writing is great and this is a site you can truly enjoy strolling through. It is also one of the Top Ten Most Awarded Web sites on the Internet.

I should tell you first off that I'm having a hard time deciding exactly what it is about this site that I like so much. This site itself is huge, but definitely take the time to look through it. The layout is creative in an artsy way. There are only original graphics and pictures (nothing here was ripped off from Art.com which seems to be a trend these days). Content and creativity are key if you wish to win my award and this site has both in abundance. If you're an animal lover, check it out. If you're an art lover, check it out. If you just like interesting and original sites, check it out. I can't guarantee that you'll love it, I just know that I do.

A fun site especially for dog enthusiasts. Ulrich's painting are bright and colorful, with a touch of the abstract. But most remarkable, is that he creates his marvelous paintings in Window "Paint" program. In my opinion a very limited program, and not the best for generating graphics. He also created all the wonderful backgrounds for his site.

This simple site did not rely on fancy, whizz bang bang effects or overly clever html and java to achieve that special magic that keeps you totally engrossed and wanting more.

Dog lovers will love this site ! With a beautiful artistic layout and fantastic imagery, this site just might leave you breathless !

Be forwarned that winning awards from us is not an easy accomplishment...
Last but certainly not least is the "MASTER" award. This award is presented to sites that are the true masters of the web. People who's sites should be against the law for being that good. I am sure you have run across one or two of these in your days surfing the web. The ones you love to hate.
