Lowly, on a Donkey:
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem:
behold, thy King cometh unto thee:
He is just, and having salvation;
lowly, and riding upon an ass,
and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem,
and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the
heathen: and His dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the
river even to the ends of the earth.
{11} As for thee also, by the blood
of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is
no water. {12} Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even
today do I declare that I will render double unto thee...

The LORD said unto My Lord...
and
A Priest Like Melchizedek:
(Melchisedec)
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand,
until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
The LORD shall send the rod
of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of
holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after
the order of Melchizedek.
Psalms 110:1-4 KJV
Geneisi 14:18-20:
"And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine:
and he was the priest of the most high God. {19} And he blessed him,
and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven
and earth: {20} And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered
thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

A Voice Heard in Ramah
The Holy Innocents:
Our First Martyrs
Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter
weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her
children, because they were not.
Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes
from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall
come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end,
saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.

A Messenger to Prepare The Way
Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. {2} Speak ye comfortably
to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her
iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for
all her sins. {3} The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare
ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
{4} Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be
made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places
plain: {5} And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh
shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Isaiah 40:1-5
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me:
and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the
Messenger of the Covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come,
saith the LORD of hosts. {2} But who may abide the day of his coming?
and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire,
and like fullers' soap: {3} And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier
of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold
and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in
righteousness.

coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:"

A Light to the Gentiles
And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be
my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved
of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou
mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
{7} Thus saith the LORD,
the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to
him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and
arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful,
and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
{8} Thus saith the
LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation
have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant
of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate
heritages; {9} That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them
that are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and
their pastures shall be in all high places.
Isaiah 49:6-9 KJV
The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in
the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.
Isaiah 9:1 NIV
Thus saith God the
LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread
forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath
unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: {6} I the
LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will
keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the
Gentiles;

Galilee of the Gentiles
Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress.
In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but
in the future he will honor Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the
sea, along the Jordan--

Blind Eyes Shall Be Opened
The Lame Shall Leap...
See, a King will reign in righteousness and rulers will
rule with justice. {2} Each man will be like a shelter from the wind and a
refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow
of a great rock in a thirsty land.
{3} Then the eyes of those who see will
no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen. {4} The
mind of the rash will know and understand, and the stammering tongue will
be fluent and clear. {5} No longer will the fool be called noble nor the
scoundrel be highly respected.
Isaiah 32:1-5 NIV
Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear
not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a
recompense; he will come and save you.
{5} Then the eyes of the blind shall
be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
{6} Then shall the
lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the
wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. {7} And the
parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water:
in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds
and rushes. {8} And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be
called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it
shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err
therein.
Isaiah 35:4-8 KJV
I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand,
and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people,
for a light of the Gentiles;
{7} To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the
prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. {8} I am the
LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my
praise to graven images. {9} Behold, the former things are come to pass,
and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Zeal for His Father's House
Because for thy sake I have borne reproach;
shame hath covered my face.
I am become a stranger unto my brethren,
and an alien unto my mother's children.
For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up;
and the reproaches of them that reproached thee
are fallen upon me.

A Teller of Parables
Give ear, O my people, to my law:
incline your ears to the words of my mouth. {2} I will open my mouth in
a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old: {3} Which we have heard and
known, and our fathers have told us.
{4} We will not hide them from their
children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and
His strength, and His wonderful works that He hath done.
{5} For He
established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He
commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:
{6} That the generation to come might know them, even the children which
should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: {7}
That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God,
but keep His commandments: {8} And might not be as their fathers, a
stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart
aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.

Chief Cornerstone
Rock of Offense
The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the
corner. {23} This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. {24}
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in
it. {25} Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send
now prosperity. {26} Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we
have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
Psalms 118:22-26 KJV
And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a
rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare
to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. {15} And many among them shall stumble,
and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
Isaiah 8:14-15 KJV
So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a
tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who
trusts will never be dismayed.
