Phillip Garrigan 1830 - 1905 died at Inglewood aged 76, wed 1858 to Mary Malone 1830 - 1909, daughter of John Malone, she died at Natte Yallock. Her age is given as 90, which seems a bit high (she would be 51 when Phillip Thomas was born). Their family were born in Victoria

Just surfing the web and noticed your Garrigan Family Research. I am doing research into the William Walker family and wondered if you would like what I have on the family - William Walker c1842 - c1917 son of Harriet Skipper (born c1818) and Edward Walker 15 Jul 1815, lived at Yallock, Victoria. I have included the second five children.

Geary

Owen Geary and John Geary arrived in Victoria 1840 on the Theresa, also on board was Mary Mulchinargh, Andrew Mulchinargh and Morris Mulchinagh (who wed Catherine Sullivan), the 4 men were Labourers, from Cork, Roman Catholics. Andrew and Mary could read and write, Owen, John and Morris are listed as neither read nor write.

John Geary wed 1854 #3345 to Mary Anne ONeill who died possibly as Jane Ann Geary 1875 #6902 aged 51, dau of Mary and John Neal of Ireland, no recorded chn

Owen Geary wed 1844 #16 to Mary Mulchnaugh and lived at Goulburn and had the children baptised at St Francis Roman Catholic Church, Melbourne.
Owen Geary died at Kilmore 1881 #10931, aged 64, when his parents were listed as Johanna Connors and Timothy Geary.
Mary (Johanna) died 1900 #12140 aged 86, and only her father's surname as Mulchanench was remembered.

Gillingham

James Gillingham James Gillingham born 1822 at East Coker, Somerset, England, wed Sept quarter 1846 to Susan Stuckey Templeman born 1827 at Thorncombe, Dorset, England, in the district Chard which spans the boundaries of the counties of Devon, Dorset and Somerset.

They came to Port Phillip, Victoria on the William Stewart during 1848
James died 1892 aged 69, parents unknown, and Susan died 1909 #6513E aged 88, dau of Unknown Stuckey and Henry Templeman, both died at Raglan, Victoria. IGI submitted entry lists James as son of Elizabeth Hutching and George Gillingham, and Susan born 1827 at Thorncombe, Dorset border, dau of Susan Stuckey and Henry Templeton

William Smith Panther wed 03 Jun 1806 to Rebeccah Morris at Pytchley, Northampton, England, son James Panther c1817 - 1878 wed c1838 to Mary Ann Taylor and came to Raglan, Victoria with William, Emma, Benjamin, Edward, Mathilda, Louisa 1848, Selina 1852, Priscilla 1855, and They came out to Australia with six children on the Posthumous in September 1850 and Settled in Adelaide, they had 3 more children. That last child, a son of which there is an unmarked child's grave at Raglan (Victoria) though it is not proven, it is expected to be of the James Charles 1861-??. See the Panther family web site
