Gangotri

Henry Louis Vivian Derozio is the first poet in the lineage of Indian-English poetry. Among the most significant poets of the post-Derozio and pre-Ezekiel  times are Toru Dutt, Sarojini Naidu, Rabindranath Tagore and Aurobindo Ghose. The poetry of the Age of Ezekiel, continuing with variegated tones and tempers, is represented, in this web-anthology, by poets placed in the streams of Ganga, Brahmaputra, Godavari and Kaveri.
