Where The Secretive One Has Traipsed Off From Time To Time

I was fortunate as a child to have been blessed with parents who loved to travel for vacations. They hauled my siblings and I along on their outings -- showing us interesting sights we otherwise would have never seen, I expect. As we children grew older, the number of back seat occupants lowered in the population count until they were going on these grand excursions on their own.

When I was married, we didn't get to travel a lot -- just an occasional side trip but nothing far away or that different to view or document on film. *shrug* When I later became divorced, travel was something not affordable yet a dream I would've liked to been able to share with my older children but alas it just wasn't meant to be it seems. *sigh*

As time marched by, I happen to be fortunate to have met FP- (how we met is described in one of the following articles on this page) and we seemed to be made for each other! He started to work as a "road warrior" for a local company and travels from place to place for his employers as a result. For extended stays on an assignment location, the folks he works for will either recommend corporate housing or not. If they decide to let him get temporary housing "on site" then I can go be with him if he happens to be within one day's driving distance.
